Five-Star Family Spa at Rocco Forte's the Balmoral
The award-wining Spa at Rocco Forte’s The Balmoral’s has just launched a brand new treatment designed exclusively for children. The Balmoral Spa is the only UK Spa to offer the unique Ytsara treatment – “Nangfa, Angel Bliss”, as part of its Five-Star Kids programme.
The Nangfa Angel Bliss treatment, designed for children over six, incorporates a grounding oil massage on the back and arms to improve a child's quality of sleep, soothe the nervous system and strengthen the immune system. Children are presented with a special healthy drink and gift at the end of the treatment.
The Nangfa treatment will be included in The Balmoral’s new family spa experience which will be launched in the autumn to coincide with the October half-term break. The “Five-Star Family Spa” includes:
• Ytsara treatments for the whole family - adults can choose from the Nuat Namman Body Oil Ceremony or the Manao Head and Face Treatment and the Nangfa for Five-Star Kids.
• Full use of The Balmoral Spa – 15 metre pool, sauna and steam rooms, unique quad layout gym, poolside juice bar, relaxation suite, yoga and pilates classes.
• Five-Star Kids Amenities, which include a range of "Junior" pampering accessories, Balmoral-branded ducks, a teddy turn-down service in the evening, customised children's robes and slippers, a wide choice of kids' movies and books, a Children's In Room Dining Menu with a range of delicious treats including chargrilled chicken fingers and Big Balmoral's banana split.
This new Spa offering is in response to an increasing demand from spa customers, who are looking for a family friendly Spa destination. According to the industry experts at Spa Finder Magazine who research and publish upcoming spa trends - *“Spa residences are moving beyond being the… option of choice for aging baby boomers, to also attract younger families with children”(And in their recent “Hot… and getting hotter in ‘07” report, they noted a growing trend for “Mummy and Baby Spa” experiences.)
