Katrina Lynam to deliver world-class Spa skills
Katrina Lynam has joined Edinburgh's landmark Balmoral, as Head Therapist of The Balmoral Spa. Katrina will manage a team of highly trained Therapists and will be responsible for developing the treatments side of the business, as well as grooming world-class skills within The Spa.
At just 23 years of age, Katrina brings a tremendous wealth of Beauty and Spa knowledge to The Balmoral. She was previously Head Therapist at The Grove in Hertfordshire, where she built up a team of 20 Therapists and successfully grew the demand for treatments from a zero client-base to a three-month waiting list. Prior to that, she was handpicked by ESPA to launch The Mövenpick Hotel & Spa in Beirut.
Katrina has achieved 29 professional qualifications since she commenced her training in 1997 and has reached Distinction Level within ESPA Ayurvedic Practical and Theory, ESPA Advanced Concept and ESPA Face and Body Training. Katrina commented: "The Balmoral Spa treats its clients as individuals and takes great pride in its attention to detail. I aim to enhance this, by training my team to the highest level in Ayurvedic Treatments, in order to offer tailor-made treatments and rituals for clients, and go that extra mile in delivering a highly-personalised Spa Journey."
This appointment dovetails other exciting initiatives currently in place for The Spa. The Balmoral has just launched its brand new "Spa Escape" package, where guests can experience the ultimate indulgence including overnight accommodation in a luxury Spa Bedroom, an ESPA harmonising package, full use of the Spa's facilities, in-room Spa Menu with healthy, nutritious cuisine and a unique Bath Butler experience. In addition, a Relaxation Suite will shortly be introduced in The Spa, with a number of beds that will allow guests to have that all-important contemplation time in a relaxing and calm ambience.
